Geneva

I love knitting…but you already knew that. One of the many reasons I love knitting is being able to take something, like a pattern, and make it completely my own, by changing the colors.

Geneva by Amy Loberg, from the Oceanside book, is a side-to-side garter stitch shawl that is shaped using short rows with wedges of color in Soft Linen. There is a predominant color and two secondary colors. The color way that we chose for the photo sample is a beautiful red with splashes of citrine and tangerine, which make a bold color statement. With 31 colors of Soft Linen, there are a ton of color combinations - from bold and bright to soft and romantic. Here are a few ideas:

Tangerine, New Fern
& Tropical Sea
Citrine, Titian Blue
& Blue Grotto
Cyan, Dove Gray
& Twilight

Dove Gray, Lavender
& Lupine
Antique White, Celadon
& Titian Blue
Linen, Smokey Rose
& Botticelli Pink

No matter what color combo you choose, this shawl will be a welcome addition to your wardrobe – spring, summer or fall.

Knit on.
