IT'S A PRIZE POST: Yakety-Yaking On A New Yarn Day

Boy oh boy, it's fun when you can win a yarny prize.
And to celebrate the launch of our newest yarn and
design collection, you could do just that.

Read on to the end for details where you can
enter to win a kit for you AND your LYS to make our new Folkston Hat in Classic Elite Yarns Arietta.

Meet Arietta. She's 80% Merino and 20% Yak. Start knitting with Arietta, and you'll never want to stop. There is something about the squish and bounce of merino that only gets better when combined with the halo and softness of yak. Dyed over natural yak, the yarn takes on a tonal quality due to the greys of the fleeces used.
It's beautiful.

Our pattern collection features three sweaters, one shrug/scarf and four clever accessories! Designers Susan Mills, Tonia Barry, Tian Foley and Cathy Payson really outdid themselves. You'll have trouble choosing which you'll cast on first.

Cheryl (L) models her completed Dillard pullover for her CEY colleagues. Not fair that she got a head start!
She looks as good as our pro model, Kristin (right).
New career for Cheryl?

Kim's wearing the Honora Cardigan. Love the combo of easy stockinette and eye-catching detail.

Clever accessories include (L-R) the Naylor Cowl which can be worn tied as shown or open, the Lula Capelet with awesome fringe, and Lizella crochet scarf which updates the beloved granny square.

Enter our August contest to win Arietta and the new design book to make the Folkston Hat! Not only will the winner win, but we will send an additional prize to your local yarn shop!

    2. I am on a shawl kick, so I have fingering on the needles. And socks. Next is a heavier sweater....
